Welcome to The Maldon Sharks Swimming Club

The Maldon Sharks Swimming Club is a friendly, successful and competitive swim club with members ranging from 8 to 18 years old.  We run a squad based system so swimmers train with others of similar ability.  We welcome swimmers with disabilities and have a qualified Para Swimming Development coach

Training sessions are held at Blackwater Leisure Centre, Maldon and South Woodham Leisure Centre.

We are a small club and are proud of the incredible results our club has achieved at County and Regional levels.   Swimmers are encouraged to take part in competitive events and to help all levels of swimmers we compete in Open Galas and the Essex Mini League as well as running internal racing events.

We have an experienced coaching team that are highly motivated to help all swimmers reach their full potential. When swimmers are ready to compete taking part in galas in a competitive environment helps them progress and provides the motivation they need to keep striving for improvements.  These events also give swimmers a chance to support each other and is a great way to make friends.

To have a trial with us we ask that you are a competent swimmer in the 4 competitive strokes and can swim at least 250m.  Perhaps you have reached Swim England Level 7, Black Hat or equivalent and are ready for a new swim challenge?

If you feel inspired and would like to know more about our club or would be interested in a free trial, please contact us by email:  membership@maldonsharks.co.uk

If you have a general enquiry please email:

info@maldonsharks.co.uk

We look forward to hearing from you!
